Renovation

One of the best decisions we made in our build process was to invite Rachel to assist us with finishes and interior design. It's easy to underestimate the level of detail in the decision making processes around these things, and the importance of them to the end result. Rachel engaged us in this process at a really granular level to make sure every detail led to an outcome that is both cohesive and distinctly personal. She knows exactly when to encourage you to look a bit more imaginatively at the task and when to let you follow your instincts. She has an incredible eye for colour, texture and light, and is able to appreciate and accommodate a vast range of aesthetic styles (and budgets!) - which is great if you're like me and pull in many different directions, aesthetically speaking! She has an excellent handle on what's on trend, but her advice isn't governed by it, which means the end result feels personal, and has longevity. Rachel is a delight to work with (and in our case, a saving grace).
Renovation
SHELLY
Rachel was an incredible source of inspiration during our recent build. We have a mid century brick home that was undergoing an extensive renovation. I knew that Rachel had the expertise and knowledge to assist us along the way with design, lighting, colour, heating and cooling options. Her advice was practical and spot on for a functional and light filled family home. The result is more than we could even have hoped for.

Rachel's flair for design is underscored by her absolute respect for practicality. She worked with me on a plan for our back garden. Many of my lofty ideas were gently grounded by Rachel who kept reminding me of the aim of the space and her suggestions on how to achieve the goal were affordable, practical and best of all - beautiful.
